Join us for a series of sessions beginning in September 2024 that emphasize career-based skill-building for those between the ages of 15 and 30 years old.

Is English your second, third, or fourth language? Would you like to participate in professional CNIB events, but are nervous about your English skills? If so, this is the workshop series for you! Come practice your conversational and professional English in a group setting for one hour with members of the Come to Work team! 

The "How I Did It" series welcomes individuals living with sight loss as they share their personal triumphs, challenges, and often creative solutions as it pertains to job-seeking, employment and overcoming some common barriers. Speakers from a variety of industries and diverse backgrounds will be highlighted during this monthly series.

Sessions oriented around preparing for Work. These "Learning Labs" are scheduled for Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Eastern. Variety of topics published in Newsletter biweekly.

Contact North helps Ontarians access the online education and training that they need to gain or retain a job, earn a promotion, or advance their career without having to leave their communities.

The "Come Learn the Way” sessions are all about learning about CNIB's Come to Work Program for members of the sight loss community who are 15 to 65 years of age, looking to work. That could be working for someone else (Talent Pool) or starting their own business (Venture Pool). Sessions are designed for participants to learn more about the program and ask questions before joining in on the program.
