Foundations for Employment with Sight Loss: Summer Series

This 9-week workshop series supports job seekers with sight loss in exploring employment, building confidence, and developing practical skills for the workplace. Through interactive, discussion-based sessions, participants will explore possible career paths, reflect on their strengths, and learn how to match their skills with job opportunities.Topics include workplace rights, disclosure, accommodations, assistive technology, transportation, professional presence, and navigating conversations about support needs.

The PEP Workshop helps job seekers with sight loss explore new ways to think about career planning and their job search. Facilitated by Victoria Hernandez, you will hear an overview of what PEP is and what it isn’t, to help you get a clear understanding of what the program offers.
